Rock Climbing: Pioneered artificial rock climbing in India [Newly introduced concepts include multi day climbing, bivouacking, night climbing etc.]. Has conducted advanced rock climbing courses for the last 28 years.

Mountaineering: He is the First Indian Civilian to climb 27000 feet plus, on Mt. Kangchenjunga; the world's  3 rd highest peak in 1988. He has done extensive trekking and climbing in Western Ghats and Himalayas and has reached the summit of 4 Himalayan peaks.   
 

Chess: All India University runners up; Bombay University Champion. He has coached D. G. Ruparel, R. A. Podar and S.I.E.S. colleges of Mumbai. 

Training: Imparted training on safety aspects and rescue techniques to various climbing clubs & other bodies.  

Chief Arbitrator of First State level artificial wall climbing competition. 

Advisor to the international standard competition wall at Goregaon [Maharashtra]. 

Panel member of Mumbai University's  Hiking & Mountaineering Dept. 

Currently working with, Welingkar Institute Of  Management, As Professor in charge-OMDP. 

Consultant to LAVASA Corporation Ltd. For developing adventure tourism and international standard rock climbing complex. 

Facilitator to OMDP programs at various levels including Top Management. 

Partner in 'Hard Knocks' an outfit in Outdoor Management Development programs. 

Academic & Advisory Board Member with Suryadatta group of institutes , Pune for the year 2007-2008.
